About Me

Hi, I’m Dave. I’m a creative professional based in Northern California with over 20 years experience in Visual Design, UX and Motion Graphics. I am a passionate hands-on designer and leader of creative teams. I utilize my visual, UX and motion design talent to explore new & interesting ways to solve design challenges.

“My passion is creating images, products and experiences that people love.”

I believe in the power of creativity and its ability to change the world. I’m currently serving as Executive Creative Director for Advanced Concepts at HTC, where I focus my creative energy on designing innovative product experiences. I’ve also had the honor of leading the Visual and Motion Design team at HTC from 2007-2014, where I helped pioneer new product experiences the mobile design industry.

In my personal time, I’m passionate about a variety of other creative endeavors; Photography, Design, 3D and Digital Art, Animation and Motion Graphics, and Filmmaking. I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, and making images that seek out new places. I have always dreamed of seeing what’s just over the horizon, or around the next bend in the trail. I live to see and experience new places, and capture just a bit of their magic, to share with others. I hope this collection of images inspires you to seek out new places and adventures of your own.

My personal philosophy. “I believe…”

  • In the power of creativity, and its ability to change the world.
  • In the insight of intuition.
  • In life-long learning, and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
  • In products that serve the needs of the end-user above all else.
  • Change is constant and should be embraced.
  • In serendipity and the unexpected creative magic that can happen when people exchange ideas.
  • In taking risks on things you believe in.
